Amazon Product Photography

We create images for Amazon online sellers. Products destined for sale on Amazon pass through our Virginia based studio every day. We deliver clean, clear, and crisp product images, quickly and at affordable rates.

At Amazon, any any other e-commerce venue, the only connection a customer has to the product is through photography. Image quality must be strong enough to give the consumer confidence to buy. Having a poor or inappropriate product image is sales suicide.

Frequently clients ask us to shoot nine images of their product. This is the maximum number of images that Amazon will accept. This doesn’t mean that you must or even should provide this many images. Create enough photos to tell your story, no more.

An essential part of creating a successful product photograph involves capturing a sharp image where the product’s details are visible and legible. The image should convey subtleties and textures and maintain color fidelity. We pay close attention to lighting, color management and other technical considerations to insure superior product photographs for our clients.

By default, we deliver 3000 pixel resolution images saved in uncompressed JPG format which will provide optimal display on Amazon. Other file formats and resolutions are available on request. Files are delivered online via Dropbox or Google Drive as the shots are completed.

Our price includes retouching to remove backgrounds, dust specs, shooting supports, etc. but does not include extensive retouching to remove your product’s flaws. We will deliver images with standard retouching. If you want more retouching, you can request additional work after you see the final images.

Pricing based upon shooting with either a white or black background. If special backgrounds are required, there may be a prop charge for acquiring the materials needed for creating the background.
