NEW PRICE GUIDE – effective July 1, 2024

Here at ICONS, Inc., we specialize in shooting products. It’s all we’ve done for the past 25 years.

Daily, we shoot products for Amazon sellers. Our images have been featured on the websites of Home Depot, Walmart, Target, Macy’s, Lowe’s, Grainger, Kohl’s, eBay and other major retailers.

We deliver clean, clear, and crisp photos of your products with fast service and affordable rates. Normal turnaround times are one, two, or three weeks depending on the number of images needed.

Our prices below are based upon shooting your tabletop size products at our studios in Southwest Virginia.

Prices below are for small to medium, tabletop-size products. Larger items may be subject to handling fees.

Prices include standard retouching to remove dust specs, slight imperfections, shooting supports, etc. Basic backgrounds are cut out and replaced with white, black, or transparent backgrounds as needed. Complicated cutouts and faster turnaround times will incur an extra fee.

Prices do not include retouching to combine images or to remove product flaws. Clients always have the option of ordering additional retouching after they see the final images. Our additional retouching and photo-composition rates are $45 per hour in 15min intervals.

Quantity discounts are considered on a client by client basis.

Prices are based on images having either a white or a black background. If special backgrounds are required, there will be a prop charge for acquiring the materials needed to create the background requested. 

Images are delivered in an uncompressed JPG format, at 3000-pixel resolution, unless the customer requests a specific file size and or format. Files are delivered online, via DropBox.

To achieve the best results, you must submit the best examples of your product. The better your products look when they get here, the better the final images will be.

Cost of models, props, extensive assembly and preparation, and styling fees are additional.

Postage for Return Shipping of the product(s) is paid by Client. Otherwise, we hold items for 90 days before disposing of them.

Super Shot fees (2-50 shots combined into one crystal clear image)

1-6  Images = $42 each
7-12 Images = $36 each
13-36 Images = $30 each
37+ Images = $24 each

Flatlay Shot fees (single shot taken on a copy stand)

1-6 Images = $30 each
7-12 Images = $25 each
13-36 Images = $20 each
37+ Images = $15 each

Set-Up Fee = $30/hr. in 15min intervals. (All products with four or more pieces to be displayed, in the same shot, will be charged a Set-up fee.)

Retouching Fee = $45/hr. in 15min intervals. (Standard retouching is included in the shot fee. Extensive retouching is an extra.)

Photo-composition Fee = $45/hr. in 15min intervals. (Standard composites are charged the appropriate shot fee. Extensive composites will be charged an additional fee.)

Modeling Fee = $60/hr. minimum (Price varies depending on client, model and genre. Models are compensated in cash at the end of each daily session.)

In-studio lifestyle shots average 2-5 times the above pricing and includes props, models, and set design. Specific prices are by quote only.

On-location lifestyle shots average 8-10 times the above pricing and are even more involved than in-studio. Specific prices are by quote only.
